THE DESIGN EXPERIENCE

This isn't just about picking out a nice sofa, it’s a design transformation. Your design plan will include:

  1. Initial Consultation: A 1-hour deep dive into your lifestyle and aesthetic. If you're within 15 miles of Glen Ellyn, we do this in person; otherwise, we connect virtually.

  2. Curated Selections & Specifications: We select cohesive furniture, lighting, and decor tailored to your style, providing detailed specifications to ensure every piece meets our standards for quality and scale. Clients are responsible for purchasing and procuring all items unless the HI Procurement phase is added for full service management.

    Optional Add Ons:

  3. Product Procurement: You skip the entire procurement maze. We take on the ordering, vendor coordination, tracking, and delivery management so nothing falls through the cracks. From backorders and substitutions to damages, replacements, and freight issues, every moving part is handled and resolved on your behalf. All items are procured with transparent, designer access pricing and coordinated through a standard industry service fee, so the process stays clear, controlled, and fully managed from start to finish.

  4. White-Glove Logistics: We coordinate the delivery and installation so you don't have to spend your Saturday wrestling with cardboard boxes and Allen wrenches. Storage, shipping, and freight fees are billed with this phase.

Furniture Budget Ranges

Designing a room is an investment in your daily quality of life. To provide the high-quality, well-proportioned results our clients expect, we find that most room transformations fall within the following ranges for furnishings and decor:

  • Small Spaces (Entryway, Breakfast Nook, Small Home Office): $12,500 – $20,000

  • Medium Spaces (Standard Bedroom, Dining Room, Den): $20,000 – $35,000

  • Large Spaces (Primary Suite, Living Room, Family Room): $35,000 – $100,000+

Design Service Fee

Our professional fees are structured by the scale of the project to ensure dedicated focus on every detail. Design fees cover the consultation, floor planning, sourcing, and procurement.

  • Small Spaces (up to 150 sq. ft.): $2,000 fee

  • Standard Spaces (150–400 sq. ft.): $3,000 fee

  • Large Spaces (400+ sq. ft.): $4,000 fee

Room classifications (Small, Medium, Large) are based on standard square footage and a single-function layout. Final tier classification will be confirmed during your initial 1-hour consultation. If a project exceeds the purchased tier's scope, the balance will be adjusted before sourcing begins. This service covers one (1) room. Multi-functional spaces (e.g., Living/Dining combos) are billed as two separate spaces or a 'Large Room' tier.

Billing Note: The Design Service Fee is due at the time of booking. Costs for all furnishings and materials will be billed separately following your formal approval of the design plan. Logistics and installation are billed upon completion.
